Basketball Week

Okay this past week, we have been in Springfield, Mo. for the annual National Homeschool Basketball Championship. Jerod had a good week. His highlight game was when he scored 10 points. He went 5 for 6 from the line. He was fouled twice while shooting 3 pointers. He had a 3 pointer and then one other bucket. Plus he took his first charge and had a number of steals. Unfortunately they lost that game. They went 2-3 for the week and finished 7th in 4A division for 14U. The highlight was watching him be cool under pressure at the line and dribbling past big boys which in the past would have intimidated him. He has had a good year and made many improvements.

The week was fun and hard and exhausting especially since Jerod and Elizabeth both got sick. Jerod got sick Thursday and Liz got sick Saturday. So now it is time to recoop. I am working on some of the other fun things we did in Springfield other than basketball.
