Disneyland was an absolute blast. We all had a great time. We got there at 9:00 am and finished the day at 11:30 pm. Long exhausting day but worth it all. I tried a slide show b/c there are so many cool pics but it rebelled and so now I will post a few.
Liz was able to meet her favorite princess Cinderella. She also got to meet Snow White and Mulan. She got a little nervous and didn't want to meet them. Cinderella was so sweet and gentle that Liz warmed up right away and didn't want to stop talking to her.

Josh and Andrew were picked for Jedi Academy Training and they were totally excited.

They really try to make Disneyland the happiest place on earth. Everyone was wonderful and we just all had a great time. We will definitely do it again.

It is time for vacation

We started our vacation on Tuesday morning. We started at 6:50ish and ended that day at 11:45 in Flagstaff, AZ. The trip was actually very smooth. Then we woke up and headed to Palm Desert, CA to see Granddad and Grandma Martin and Rod's uncle and aunt and cousins. We got there around 3:00 in the afternoon. The kids got to swim in Janet and Doug's pool and we got some yummy pizza. It was really wonderful that Ben, Sally and Brock got to come and spend the evening too. Brock is so cute and busy and sweet. Then we went out to breakfast with Granddad and Grandma. Rod did a little work to get their printer working and then we headed to Anaheim. We hung out at the hotel, went for a swim and ate Red Robin. I will post on Disneyland next.

School is done
This was our last week of school, and it is the River Festival so we decided to take advantage of a couple of freebies.
First we went to the Art Museum on Wednesday. None of the boys remembered ever going there so it was fun. The enjoyed the glass floor that you could walk on and the interactive area. We also enjoyed looking at some of the paintings as well. I still don't get how some of that stuff makes the art museum and other stuff does not.
On Thursday, we met our friends the Hinzmans at Exploration Place. It was fun as well although it was a little busy for my liking. The kids had a great time. KSN news was there and they filmed the kids throwing paper airplanes at the target; but that didn't make the news. Jerod and Josh got to see a quick glance of Kaulin on the news Thursday night. We had a great time.

Baseball Season
Baseball season is under way. We lost our first game Monday. Last night we suffered another loss; but Jerod pitched awesome. He has 12 strike outs with only 1 RBI against him. He played awesome. It was an exciting game; but we lost by 1. Here are some pics of Jerod pitching and one of him hitting. He actually had catchers interference on his first at bat ended up stealing 2nd and 3rd and home to score. Was walked the other two times as well. So not much luck at the bat but still scored 2 out of 3 times up. Also it was Koen's 9 month birthday. Fun days at the ball park.
